Delta Air Lines has unveiled the latest enhancements to its Terminal C at New York’s LaGuardia Airport – part of the now-completed $4 billion transformation in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. LaGuardia’s transformation celebrates New York’s cultural richness with curated installations by local artists and community-inspired exhibits throughout the terminal.

The fully modernised terminal aims to deliver greater comfort, efficiency and signature hospitality in time for the busy summer travel season.

LaGuardia has been completely reimagined for today’s traveller. TSA PreCheck Touchless ID (formerly Digital ID), available to eligible SkyMiles Members enrolled in TSA PreCheck, allows travellers to check bags and clear security using just a facial scan. That means fewer lines, fewer screens to touch, and more time to enjoy the airport experiences and amenities.

The terminal was designed with accessibility in mind, featuring thoughtful enhancements to support a more inclusive and comfortable experience for all travellers. Highlights include a quiet sensory room with a mock aircraft cabin designed to help travellers acclimate to the flying experience, marked pet relief areas in the terminal, and an interfaith chapel offering a peaceful space for reflection before or after take-off.

One of Terminal C’s newest features is its outdoor sky deck – a refreshing addition to modern airport design. It’s a unique space that brings a moment of calm and connection to the outdoors in the heart of the Big Apple.

The dining line-up channels the city’s diverse culinary spirit, with local favourites like Bubby’s, Chuko Ramen, and King David Tacos. For a proper sit-down meal, Calista Taverna brings Greek flair, while Sunday Supper offers nostalgic Italian American comfort. Grab a pre-flight cocktail at Terrace Bar, brunch at Eggy Weggy or Poppy’s Bagels, or a late-night bite at Essex Burger or Rossi Pizzeria (developed with famed pizzaiolo Mark Iacono of Lucali).
