Avinor has announced plans to procure electric aircraft chargers as part of its collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Norway to establish an international test arena for zero and low-emission aviation. In autumn 2025, an electric aircraft will fly between Stavanger and Bergen. Before that, the necessary infrastructure must be in place and Avinor has announced plans to procure fast chargers for electric aircraft. In April 2024, Avinor and the Civil Aviation Authority of Norway entered a collaboration to establish Norway as an international test arena for zero and low-emission aviation.
