Edinburgh Airport is implementing Veovo’s curb-to-flight flow management. This will provide a comprehensive view of passenger movement, helping improve all aspects of the airport journey. Edinbugh Airport is deepening its partnership with Veovo to further improve the passenger experience. Building on its existing queue management system, which tracks wait times at key points like security, the airport will now implement Veovo’s curb-to-flight flow management. Curb-to-flight insight provides a comprehensive view of passenger movement throughout the airport. Analysing behaviour by flight and time of day allows every stage of the passenger journey to be optimised. For instance, understanding when passengers arrive at the airport allows optimal planning of check-in and bag drop resources to help reduce queue times. Cathay Pacific was an early adopter of the original SITA Connect solution, and this renewed agreement demonstrates its confidence in SITA as it moves to the newly launched SITA Connect Go service. Kelowna has purchased several modules from Copenhagen Optimization’s Better Airport software suite, introducing solutions that link forecasting, stand and gate management, security, check-in, and baggage reclaim management.
