Zurich Airport selects ‘the food collective ag’ as operator of new TREATS food hall for an “unforgettable CX”

Zurich Airport has selected ‘the food collective ag’ to operate the new TREATS food hall. The 2,000sqm food hall, opening in autumn 2027, is set to become a new gastronomic highlight at Zurich Airport.

Zurich Airport – a Corporate Partner of the FTE Digital, Innovation & Startup Hub – has selected ‘the food collective ag’, a Pointbreak Group company, to operate the new TREATS food hall. The 2,000sqm food hall, scheduled to open in autumn 2027, is set to become a new gastronomic highlight at Zurich Airport.

TREATS will offer over 1,000 seats – making it one of the largest food halls in Switzerland. The hall will span two levels and feature a diverse selection of local and international specialties, including 16 food stalls, food trucks, four bars, and a café. Additionally, the space includes a stage for events and multiple outdoor terraces.

“At TREATS, the focus is on enjoying food and socialising – true to the motto: Treat yourself!” said Stefan Gross, Chief Commercial Officer, Flughafen Zürich AG. “Thanks to Pointbreak’s experience in creating unforgettable experiences and events, TREATS will become a gastronomic centre of attraction at Zurich Airport.”

The new food hall is currently under construction between car parks P1 and P2, at the bus station level. It will serve as a connecting hub between shopping, arrivals and departures, the train station, The Circle, and the car parks. With a total of five entrances and exits, TREATS will ensure seamless accessibility from different sides of the airport. TREATS is being developed as part of the renovations of the landside passenger areas. In addition to the new food hall, the project includes the redesign of public areas aimed at eliminating bottlenecks in passenger flow, creating more attractive retail areas, and improving logistics and traffic management. More than 100,000 people use the airport’s public areas daily.
